Who Are We?
We are Konnect 4 a theatre company based in Canterbury, created specifically for Canterbury Christ Church's Approaches to Applied Theatre module 1. We as a theatre company aim to provide a safe and educational environment in our workshops, for participants to develop a better understanding of a topic focused on, throughout the session of the workshop.
What Do We Do?

We practise supporting participants with an interactive approach.

We include elements of drama incorporated into the workshops, which are presented through a light-hearted and welcoming approach.

We created a proposal for a drama workshop aimed at a specific target audience in order to achieve a positive and educational outcome presented at the start of the workshop.

We provide a safe working environment with space to develop and educate others, for those who aim to provide support for those in need in their own educational settings.

In order for an educational aspect to be achieved those who provide the support in their own environments must understand the depth and content of the advice and support, they are providing.
Workshop Content
Being aware of special requirements in any setting is important as having a condition that is not approached correctly allows: increased vulnerability worsened mental health conditions and prevents individual development, which doesn’t provide equal opportunities for all identities present and participating.

Aim: To address a need for the awareness of special requirements or disabilities in an educational setting in particular.

Objective: By the end of the session attendees will be able to recognise the underlying difficulties found within an educational setting and be able to support those who require extra help in a safe and comfortable environment.
